We operate across ten regions within England and Wales, each with a regional secretary. To apply to be an OPV or to find out more about the scheme: Identify a prison near your home using the map. Using the colour coding of that prison click on the corresponding link in the key list below. This will bring up a list of the prisons in that region and give contact details to be able to get in touch with the NAOPV regional secretary. Latest prison statistics

Number of prisons – 118 in England and Wales; of these, 104 are run by HMPPS, while three private companies operate 14: Serco and Sodexo manage 5 each and G4S manages 4.

A service operated by Unilink and approved by HMPPS providing a secure alternative method of communication with prisoners by email.
