Legacies

For over 100 years the NAOPV Association has served its members in their work in prisons across England & Wales.

The NAOPV is an independent charity approved by the Ministry of Justice – we are entirely voluntary – employ no staff – and have no premises to maintain.

Your gift will make a difference :   helping us to recruit more OPVs – provide advice and guidance – and foster communications to OPVs through regular newsletters, an annual conference, and a regional support structure

How to help
Anyone can leave a gift in their Will or make a simple addition to an existing Will. There are two types of bequest:

residuary gift – the remainder of your estate, or a percentage of the remainder, after all other gifts have been distributed

pecuniary gift – a specified sum of money (can be index linked to ensure it keeps value over time)

Information specifically required in the Will

National Association of Official Prison Visitors
33 Daleside, Greetland, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX4 8QD
Registered Charity No. 1099041

We recommend that you seek the help of a solicitor when drawing up your Will
