    Donations

    With the discontinuation of the grant from the Ministry of Justice, we are ever more reliant on our NAOPV members for the financing of our charity. Our members contribute a considerable amount of time and expense in visiting prison inmates, who often have no social visitors.

     

    We would appreciate if you could help in one of the following ways:

     

    1. Our 300 Club A regular donation of just £2.00 pcm by Standing Order Mandate will enable us to meet our running costs. Subscribers will receive e-bulletins and our annual newsletter. Click here Fund-Raising-Appeal-SO-SD-form – for a Standing Order Mandate, which on completion you should forward to your bank. You can usually do this online, via the bank’s app, or in a branch.

     

    2. Single Donation If you prefer to make a single donation of any amount, this can be done electronically by visiting our page on the Charities Aid Foundation website. Alternatively you can send your donation to the General Secretary at 33, Daleside, Greetland, Halifax, HX4 8QD. Cheques should be made payable to ‘National Association of Official Prison Visitors’. If you would like a receipt, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

    And don’t forget Gift Aid If you wish to help us with methods 1 and 2 above and are a UK Tax payer, your charitable contributions can be increased by 25p in the pound, at no expense to yourself. If you wish to participate in the gift aid scheme, please complete the consent form –Fund-Raising-Appeal-August-2025 and send to: General Secretary, NAOPV, 33 Daleside, Greetland, Halifax, West Yorkshire.
