For over 100 years the NAOPV Association has served its members in their work in prisons across England & Wales. The NAOPV is an independent charity approved by the Ministry of Justice – we are entirely voluntary – employ no staff – and have no premises to maintain. Your gift will make a difference :   helping us to recruit more OPVs – provide advice and guidance – and foster communications to OPVs through regular newsletters, an annual conference, and a regional support structure How to help Anyone can leave a gift in their Will or make a simple addition to an existing Will. To apply to be an OPV

We operate across ten regions within England and Wales, each with a regional secretary. To apply to be an OPV or to find out more about the scheme: Identify a prison near your home using the map. Using the colour coding of that prison click on the corresponding link in the key list below. This will bring up a list of the prisons in that region and give contact details to be able to get in touch with the NAOPV regional secretary.
